The company

1938

In 1938, Paul Claeys established a workshop centered on exceptional expertise: fabric stamping and embossing. The company grew and built its reputation by meeting the rigorous demands of the lingerie, couture, and Haute Couture markets.

2012

In 2012, the company built new industrial facilities in the PIPA business park in the Ain region. This expansion enabled the development of new markets, including automotive, aerospace, and technical fabrics specifically designed for the sports industry.

2022

In 2022, the company was acquired by BENAUD Créations. The MAIRE MOIRE workshop, its team, and its expertise joined the CLAEYS site.

Our Crafts

Mechanical finishing offers a wide range of possibilities for enhancing the technical or aesthetic properties of materials. Always eager to explore new products and requests, we are ready to study new projects, designs, logos, or innovative processes.

Our production equipment enables us to finish woven and knitted fabrics, available in rolls, cut pieces, sheets, or ribbons. We work with textiles, films, papers, and more—whether single-layer or laminated, with or without application.

Our values

Our core philosophy is built on service excellence and a commitment to quality in everything we do. Confidentiality and trust are among our highest priorities.

We are highly responsive and ready to meet your needs quickly. Most importantly, we place the human touch at the heart of our interactions, fostering authentic and respectful relationships.

UPCYCLING

We believe that upcycling is a sustainable and innovative approach that can be seamlessly integrated into your CSR initiatives.

Fabric stamping and embossing is a mechanical finishing process. It involves passing the fabric between two rollers—a calendering technique that requires no water and no chemicals.

We believe mechanical finishing is a powerful way to add value to materials or breathe new life into your dormant stocks.
