Stamping

Fabric stamping is achieved by passing the material between a smooth cylinder and an engraved cylinder, which mechanically prints a pattern onto the face of the fabric. 237 stamping cylinders are currently available. We can also engrave custom cylinders specifically for your projects.

Embossing

Embossing creates structured textures by using two cylinders engraved with the exact same pattern. We offer a selection of 35 embossing cylinders.

Printing

Transfer printing allows for the application of colorful patterns onto fabric through heat sublimation, without the use of harmful substances. It serves as a compelling eco-friendly alternative to chemical dyeing.

Laminating

Bonding of adhesive films between various substrates.

Heat-sealing, interlining, and laminating. Composites can be trimmed using ultrasonic technology or mechanical blade cutting.

Calendering

Calendering modifies the appearance of the fabric through the combined effects of heat and mechanical cylinder pressure. The fabric is flattened and softened to achieve either a lustrous shine or a matte finish.

Miré effect

The Miré effect creates patterns on silk or viscose velvet using a specialized cylinder that flattens and displaces the pile.

Velvet brushing / Poulinage

Poulinage creates intricate patterns through the combined heating action of a perforated cylinder and a brush. This finish plays on the contrast between the brushed and unbrushed areas of synthetic velvet.

Crinkling

Various crinkling and pleating techniques are available: Fortuny crushing, pleating, and cascade crushing.
